Coming Soon to Hunters near You: The 2013 PSE TAC Elite Integrated Crossbow

PSE came from a very humble beginning. It was started by a man by the name of Pete Sheply, a product engineer at Magnavox who spent his lunch hours designing archery related equipment.

Today, Pete is seen as a pioneer and head of the leading manufacturer of archery hunting equipment in the nation including crossbows. One of Pete’s most notable products is the new PSE TAC Elite which is replaces the original TAC 15i. PSE boasts the all new TAC Elite takes the design of the TAC 15i “to a whole new level” and that the Elite is “designed to be more accurate, more efficient, and more durable than ever before!”

[caption id="attachment_3421" align="aligncenter" width="432"]PSE TAC Elite Integrated Crossbow PSE TAC Elite Integrated Crossbow[/caption] The PSE TAC Elite measures in at 22 inches wide from cam to cam, and a 17.25 inch power stroke, which is the distance the bow's string is drawn back. At a 150 pound draw weight the long power stroke allows the tactical crossbow to soot arrows at speeds of 400+feet per second. This puts the TAC Elite on a whole other level than most crossbows making the Barnett Ghost 410 the only other crossbow that can compete in the same arena.

A nice low tech addition to the PSE TAC Elite is the adjustable stock. Users can adjust the length of the stock anywhere between 41.5 inches and 45 inches. Being able to adjust the stock gives the shooter yet another option to make this incredible weapon a custom feel.

The crossbow is not the only thing you receive when purchasing this item. PSE also includes a crossbow case, Hawke scope, bipod and three TAC arrows for their TAC Elite Package.
